Winning the Lottery of Life….
I was actually stoked to read the news today… Just amazing. This photo was taken by Janis Krums on her iPhone. She was on a ferry crossing at the time, which came to help.
Landing on water is about as impressive as WALKING ON WATER. These planes rarely stay together when landed on water. Normally the wings rip off, the fuselage rips open and death, destruction and sinking happens violently. Today god / destiny determined that the scummy Hudson held enough bodies.
The pilot, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is a complete RULER. This guy, after losing all engines, kept his cool, smoothanded the landing of this beast *on* the fucking Hudson River and then stayed as the last person in the plane, making sure all his passengers were safely evacuated. Everybody survived. This guys got balls of steel and is an American hero. The eyes always tell all…
I betcha the Statue of Liberty was proud as it looked down at the French built Airbus plane floating down the Hudson. The French take a lot of shit from American opinions because they don’t back idiot American mistakes like the Iraq War. Today, I also salute the French for building a solid plane that helped save American lives.
