R.I.P. Soap Box RULER
March 9th, 2008

Some folks i know participate in this socal soap box racing, and im a big fan. Basically every month or so they (SFVISF) pick a secret location and it’s on. Everybody builds their own cars, based on the rules. Well, this morning the SFVISF (San Fernando Valley Illegal Soapbox Federation) had the race in Tarzana and one of the guys spun out, hit a parked car and died. That’s fucked up and sad.
I hope this doesnt cause an end of this racing. Just like many things in life– the fun things are risky. I’d rather die in a soapbox having fun, then on the highway battling traffic driving to work anyday…
